However Haringey Council don't in any way want to be helpful.
Technically the dropped kerb fiasco was raised

Complaint about the difference in Care Assessment and Care Charge"

Background

I contribute toward my care. A million factors are involved and each year it’s assessement to determine my weekly contribution.
In the year April 2021 I was incorrectly assessed to pay 100% or the cost.
This I BELIEVE was from the incorrect care charge from the care company of £39.79 For the majority of the 15 years I've been disabled. My care needs have been pretty similar. 2 Hours 30 minutes a day
17 odd hours a week for £39.79

So this was quintessential Haringey. The sara plus had its normal 6 month service in December Two parts were identified as needing repair.
These repairs were not completed until July
The response states
I would like to assure you that the issues with the delay was raised with the providers as this falls below the standard of service we expected from them.
This is a blatant lie, Haringey Council have no standards. This is a pattern with NRS. The last problem with the hoist i was advised to stay in bed

Dropped Kerb

In true Haringey Council fashion, a relatively simple request (can you install a dropped kerb) became a major issue with them making a judgement without keeping me informed.

I have brought myself an Eco Assist wheelchair attachment. It turns the manual wheelchair I have into a sort of tricycle. But with an ‘assist’ so when outside It does the work of pushing the wheelchair, not me. I had the fantastic people at Wheel Freedom https://www.wheelfreedom.com Help me. It was after the purchase during my use we discovered it has an extremely large turning circle. So getting out of my garden is dangerous because if I accidentally accelerated I’d fly right off the kerb into the road. Coming back to my garden. It is impossible. I can’t turn enough to safely come through the gate.

Haringey Council can be described in many ways, but you could never accuse them of mixing their words.
In response to the complaint I got a paragraph. Two sentence that raise more question than it should

LGO - 25023698

The The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGO) refused the complaint. Saying Haringey Council had not considered the complaint. As you can see above they had considered the complaint. The LGO are punishing me for the quality of Haringey Council response.
This has not been published on the LGO website
